Char lvl
I was reading a different forum and saw that the lvl cap is only 20??? If it's only 20, it seems that there isnt much playing time into this game. will they raise the cap soon if it is? i saw people saying they got to 14-16 on the BWE which is 2 days, and if the cap is at 20, i dont see much of a future. also, there is no more BWE right?

there are 25 missions (non pvp) to start
there are 60-70 explorable areas (non pvp, not small) to start with additional content to be added by streaming in fron GW Guild Wars, in contrast, is based around your skill as a player. Our maximum level is twenty and you hit that very quickly, after about 20-30 hours of play. ,We call that 'The Point of Ascension'. Almost all of the content in the game and in the future Chapters is only available to Ascended characters, which means we don't have to worry about providing different levels of content. All the good stuff will be available to everyone. It's not our intent to force people onto the levelling up treadmill, so the level cap in Guild Wars is almost meaningless. |

yes... that post should explain everything...
but here's the game model... |--(levels 1-20)--------------------------------("endgame")---------expansions--> content keeps going LONG LONG LONG past the level cap. levels 1-19 are more of a tutorial. |

Oh, Also, GuildWars will have awesome events on holidays and such. You can't skip that out. Have you possibly saw the last 2 events, The ones at the end of the last 2 BWE's?

Yeah, all it really is is a point where you stop getting more Health and energy, and I'm not sure about attribute points? I know you can still get Skill points.

You get attribute points with every level. So, no, You wouldn't get anymore after level 20.

You can't possibly do everything this game will have to offer in 1-2 weeks. It isn't all about leveling and farming for equipment. Enjoy the experience, explore the world, kill some friends.
I heard (not sure how accurate it is) that even if you explored every inch of the last beta event that you only explored about 30% of what will be available in the final release. WOW! |
